Miao are one of the 56 ethnic groups in China and you can find many Miao people in the Guizhou province! They have many different festivals during the year. I was lucky to be there during Miao New Year which just so happens to be after the autumn harvest. Every year location and dates for Miao New Year is different. I recommend checking on XHS around 2 weeks - 1 month before you visit Guizhou to see the latest schedule but generally you can expect to see a Miao New Year opening parade at 📍Leish
