This is the fawn that was attacked by a dog, and one of the front legs is paralyzed. Some people think rehabbing fawns is all fun, but nope, we have to do alot of gross things. For the first week or so you have to help them pee and poo, or they may die. Donations are so very appreciated and needed, thank you. This fawn's front legs splay, so she can not stand to nurse. I have figured out that if fawn splay their legs when trying to stand, it helps to put them in a narrow space to prevent that until their muscles are strong enough to stand well. We are up to 32 fawns here at Magnolia Fawn Rescue. Donations are so very appreciated and needed, thank you. She is a beauty, but unfortunately, her back legs are deformed, and one is broken. After all bottle feeding, we splinted both back legs. This little rare beauty is looking for a name, if you have any suggestions. We took in 5 fawn rescue a pigeon yesterday. That puts us at well over 40 fawns. Donations are so very appreciated and needed, thank you.❤️ Paypal.me/magnoliafawnrescue Venmo: @magnoliafawnrescue Mail: Magnolia Fawn Rescue 1066 Hayes Drive Gray Court, S.C. 29645 #fawn #babydeer #animalr

A baby deer, called a fawn, is easy to recognize by its long, delicate legs, large dark eyes, and the white spots scattered across its back—perfect camouflage in dappled forest light. Born in the spring, fawns spend their first few weeks quietly hidden in tall grass or underbrush while their mother searches for food. They instinctively remain still and silent to avoid attracting predators. As they grow stronger, they begin to stand, walk, and eventually run, staying close to their mother as they

This sweet orphaned fawn is trying something new… a bowl of dirt! 🌱 It might seem odd, but this behavior (called geophagy) is actually normal and healthy for young deer. Why do fawns eat dirt? 🧂 Minerals- They may be missing key nutrients like calcium or iron. 🦠 Gut health- Dirt introduces good microbes to help develop their digestive system. 👅 Curiosity- Like toddlers, fawns explore the world with their mouths! This was her first time giving it a try, and she wasn’t quite sure what to make

Mama, wait for me I have little legs!!! A cute moment from this morning. A doe ran across the road and I stopped because I had a feeling another would follow. Instead this teeny tiny fawn popped out of the trees. Listen to its little cries! #fawn #babylove #babyanimals #cuteanimals #estespark #wildlife #foryoupagereels #fypシ | Colorado Wild Photography

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife on Instagram: "It’s been busy few days, lots of sad situations that I’m not going to share😕 A healthy deer is made for this weather except jumping fences. They’ve jumped the same fence over and over but when we have a couple feet of snow, ice or mud right before they jump their back legs sink, slide or get stuck which in most cases impales them on the fence. It’s a horrific situation and majority need put down. On a happier note please watch Elf playing with my zipper

Hidden in tall summer grass, a young, spotted fawn stands by itself. It twists to lick its flank, wobbling slightly on unsteady legs. A sudden sound breaks the quiet, and its head snaps up, ears alert and listening to the unseen. #fawn #deer #wildlife #nature

Wildlife & Animals on Instagram: "A baby deer, also known as a fawn, is easily recognized by its slender legs, big eyes, and white spots on its back, which help it blend into the forest. Fawns are usually born in spring and spend their first weeks hidden in tall grass or bushes while their mother forages nearby. They stay very still and quiet to avoid predators. As they grow stronger, they begin to walk, run, and follow their mother, learning how to survive in the wild. Video credit goes to: lad

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife on Instagram: "Moby isn’t a candidate for splints because of the position his tendons are fixed. I don’t give up easily and I will always try. I’ve been using Lindy’s red light therapy boot on his legs. Both fit perfectly in one boot. I also have been doing physical therapy on him. When I took him in his hair was rubbed off and his skin was bleeding from walking on his “ankles”. He was slipping and sliding without traction. I padded his hoof and wrapped it for better footing
